Illinois Food Manager Certification

Master food safety. Pass the nationally accredited ServSafe Food Protection Manager exam. Earn your Illinois FSSMC.

What you need to know: Illinois requires at least one Certified Food Protection Manager on-site during all hours of food prep. Pass any ANAB-accredited exam (ServSafe is most common) with 75% or higher, then apply to IDPH with a $35 fee ($52 in City of Chicago). Certification is valid for 5 years.
